Virtual Event: Having Hard Conversations
Join us as we unpack the three pillars of having hard conversations; emotional intelligence (understanding your emotions), mindfulness (ability to not give into your anger in a way that does not serve you), and articulation (how to words come out of your mouth).
Time & Location
Jun 30, 2020, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM MDT
About the Event
Having uncomfortable conversations happens to us all! Have you ever walked away from a disagreement wishing you had not yelled as much, kept your cool, stood up for yourself or said something different? Do you ever find yourself too riled up to come up with the words or are just plain confused on how to get your point across to your team or romantic partner without being "too direct", abrasive or insensitive?
Join us as we unpack the three pillars of having hard conversations; emotional intelligence (understanding your emotions), mindfulness (ability to not give in to your anger in a way that does not serve you), and articulation (how the words come out of your mouth) and walk away from this class with tools for navigating those difficult conversations with grace, patience, authenticity and compassion.
"This class should be required in school! It would have helped me through a lot of tough situations. It's so nice to know that I am able and feel empowered to speak my needs with clarity and sincerity. I know I won't be perfect at it, but now I have tools to help me and my partner communicate better when we disagree." -N.S.
Having Hard Conversations
